What's the difference between a screen and a tarp?

Only Eagle offers such a wide variety of fabrics for any application.

“Screen” fabrics are open mesh and very effective for controlling nuisance dust and overspray while still allowing natural air flow in and out of the contained area.

“Tarps” generally refer to fabrics that are impenetrable by solids. These fabrics do not allow any air flow through the fabric and are typically used on lead-abatement projects, or where negative pressure is required.

What sizes of tarps and screens are available?

Eagle maintains a large inventory of “stock sizes” in both tarps and screens. These stock sizes are available for immediate shipment. Most popular sizes include:

30 X 50

40 X 60

However, most orders produced by Eagle are custom orders, built to fit the customer's specific needs. Eagle will fabricate your order in any size you care to handle. How much will my tarps or screens weigh?

Geoscreen panels typically weigh between 45-50 lbs. for every 1,000 square feet.

Coated fabric tarp panels typically weigh between 65-70 lbs. for every 1,000 feet.

Be sure to ask your Eagle representative for a weight estimate on any specific requirements.

When will my order ship?

“In stock” orders ship same day from Eagle warehouses if your order is placed before 2:00pm central time. Orders placed after 2:00pm will be shipped on the following business day. Choose East Coast, West Coast, or Gulf Coast when your order is placed.

“Custom Fabricated” orders ship on average 3-5 business days, but times vary depending on season and backlog.

How will my order ship?

UPS, UPS Blue, UPS Red, etc are available for items up to 70 pounds.

Most large orders can be shipped motor freight.

Rush orders can be flown to most airports on via Air Cargo with a nominal airport drop off fee.

Hot shot deliveries and other expedited shipping methods such as Pilot Air Freight are available.

Does Eagle install?

No, Eagle does not install, but we can supply you with all the containment equipment and accessories that you need for your containment project.
